# Create your blog

Sign in and claim your yourname.blogbat.com address.

1. Open [Start your blog](https://app.blogbat.com/login?returnTo=/onboarding) and enter your email. BlogBat sends you a sign-in link, so there is no password.
2. Open the link, then enter a **Blog name** and a **URL slug** of at least 3 characters.

BlogBat checks the slug as you type. Your blog goes live at `yourslug.blogbat.com`.
