# Connect an AI provider

Add your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google key.

BlogBat writes with your own key, so you pay your AI provider directly. It works with Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI), and Gemini (Google).

Open **Settings**, then **AI Providers**. Paste your key into **API Key** on your provider's card, select **Test** to check it, and choose a **Model**. BlogBat saves your changes as you go. Use **Default AI Provider** to choose which one BlogBat uses unless you pick another.
